At Pink Theory, we are committed to fostering a space that is inclusive, safe, and empowering for all. To ensure that our magazine remains a haven for creativity and expression, we have a few ground rules for submissions.

🍒 What We DO NOT Accept:

❌ Hate speech or discriminatory content
❌ NSFW or overly explicit material
❌ Excessive or gratuitous violence
❌ Plagiarism or AI-generated content

Any violations of these guidelines will result in an automatic rejection.

🍒 Who Can Submit?

Pink Theory is youth-run and youth-focused, meaning we only accept submissions from individuals aged 13-25.

🍒 Submission Guidelines:

📎 Ownership & Rights – You retain full rights to your work and may republish it elsewhere after its initial appearance in Pink Theory. If reposted, please credit Pink Theory as the original publisher.

📎 Submission Limit – Each individual may submit up to four pieces per issue for consideration.

📎 Editing Process – If your work is accepted, you will receive an email regarding any necessary edits or formatting adjustments before publication.

Short Stories & Fiction – 500 to 2,500 words
Essays (Personal, Cultural, Opinion Pieces) – 800 to 2,000 words
Fashion, Beauty, Lifestyle, & Pop Culture Articles – 600 to 3,000 words
LGBTQ+ & Identity Pieces – 500 to 2,000 words
Unsent Letters Section – 300 to 800 words

Advice Column ("Big Sis Advice") – 700 to 1,200 words
Pop Culture, Fashion, & Beauty Articles – 1000 to 2,00 words
Personal Narratives & Storytelling – 700 to 1,500 words
