Hey, I’m Deetya Das—the girl behind Pink Theory. I started this digital zine because I was tired of seeing femme voices pushed to the margins. I wanted to create a space where girlhood isn’t boxed in, where you can be both soft and rebellious, and where every story—whether loud, quiet, or messy—gets to shine.
We are the girls who romanticize rebellion, the writers who challenge the status quo, and the artists who paint outside the lines. Whether we’re dissecting pop culture, amplifying queer voices, or just making sense of what it means to be us, we’re here to create a space where girlhood—queer or straight, loud or soft—is celebrated in every form.

You'll work closely with writers, fact-check content, and maintain the magazine’s signature tone—where rebellion meets elegance. If you have an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, this role is for you!
Graphic Designer:
As a Graphic Designer at Pink Theory, you’ll bring our aesthetic to life through stunning visuals. Whether designing zine-style layouts, curating dreamy collages, or crafting bold, femme-rebellious graphics, your work will define the magazine’s visual identity. If you love blending Y2K nostalgia with coquette aesthetic and modern digital art, this is your canvas!
Staff Writer:
Got a way with words? As a Staff Writer at Pink Theory, you’ll be crafting compelling pieces on girlhood, LGBTQ+ culture, female empowerment, and the chaos of Gen-Z life. Whether it’s thought-provoking essays, snappy listicles, or pop-culture deep dives, your writing will shape the voice of our mag. If you love storytelling, we want you!
Outreach Manager:
As an Outreach Manager at Pink Theory, you'll be the key link between our magazine and the creative world. Your role includes researching and reaching out to writers, artists, musicians, and filmmakers for interviews, ensuring our platform showcases the most exciting voices. You’ll also draft compelling cold emails to secure interviews. Strong writing and communication skills are essential for this role—if you’re persuasive, organized, and passionate about the arts, we want you on our team!
Social Media Manager:
Pinterest, Instagram—Pink Theory needs a digital diva to keep our socials thriving! As a Social Media Manager, you’ll curate aesthetic posts, write engaging captions, interact with our audience, and keep our content trendy, rebellious, and hyper-feminine. If you know how to make a brand go viral while staying unapologetically that girl, we need you!
